Default Political Parties

How do you feel about political parties? Do you feel that having seperate political parties is useful? Or do you think that we should just go back to the days when there hadn't been any parties established? Some feel that they unnecessarily seperate people into different sects and cause even more conflict, while others maintain that that is just a necessary part of democracy. What do you think? And if you are in support of political parties, feel free to let us know which political party it is that you're apart of.

I don't mind having political parties, but what we need are political parties with clear straight-forward platforms. But I do mind that it seems almost to be mandatory to be in a political party.

Now, if you ask if I'm willing to support a 3rd-party, I would. I'd even like to see the Libertarian Party replace the GOP, and even the Green party to replace the DNC, and have the Constitutional Party for another party.

Do you think that would really change anything, though? I mean, it's not like the people who are making our current parties bad are going to suddenly dissapear. Replacing our two party system with the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, and the Constitutional Party won't work, in my opinion. You see how divided the country is with just two main parties. Imagine if we throw in a third or fourth. But I could be wrong.

A small city in North Carolina did away with political parties, the federal dept. of justice claimed that blacks would not be smart enough to know who to vote for without the political party information.

Yes, I do believe a lack of political affiliation information would change the political field in the U.S. Primarily because of one dirty secret: nobody is ever as liberal as a white person, nobody is as family-oriented as a Hispanic, and no one has ever been targeted more by eugenics and the abortion industry than the black people. Many people who do in fact vote for party affiliation would probably be more inclined to at least learn who supports their views more and for the better.

And yes, you can bet the 3-party system I just stated would work better as it would actually cover all 3 major grounds that people care about. Green party for the environmentalists, Constitutional party for the 'Christian/Populist', and Libertarian Party for Libertarians/Capitalists/Anarchists and any other Minarchist. Just maybe the only grounds you don't have covered are Marxists/Socialists/Communists, and well they don't deserve any grounds in the first place. Anyhow, I was just mentioning what system I wouldn't mind seeing if one were to keep political parties.
